Overview. This CCC constructed overlook has commanding views of the river valley - home to the town of Carrollton. I give it the moniker Two Rivers because the Kentucky joins the Ohio River below. After visiting here, head into town to checkout Point Park to see the rivers up close.

Parking. Limited parking is available at the drive-up overlook. Those hiking Fossil Trail should park either at the lodge or at the lots nearer the Butler-Turpin House.

HIKER NOTE - Viewshed Clearing. Kentucky State Parks crews typically trim viewsheds every several years. This overlook is about due for a visit from the barber;-)

CAUTION - Poisonous Snakes. Copperheads can be found in the area. Should you encounter one, stop and slowly back away. Always give venomous snakes a wide berth. Know Before You Go => University of Kentucky Venomous Snake Guide
