Overview. When it comes to municipal parks, this one is a gem! A nice, short path with a little ruggedness set in the holler:-) There were plenty of wildflowers on display, a playful creek, and all the facilities you’d expect. Stop in for a quick walk or add Martin Branch Trail to get the heart rate up.

Parking. Ample parking is available at the trailhead.

Trail Navigation. Start by taking the south trailhead (listed above) and walk counterclockwise on the loop. You’ll begin at the bottomlands, cross the creek, and begin making your way uphill. The trail stops well short of the top of the knob and instead cuts across to the next drainage. Continue around the loop making sure not to take the Martin Branch Trail - unless you feel like getting in some hill work;-) Cross the second bridge and finish in the parking lot.
