Parking. Ample parking is available at the horseshoe lot off Kancamagus Highway (NH-112). The lot may fill during peak periods, but with a short hike, most visits are short - meaning parking spots routinely come available.

Trail Navigation. From the trailhead, move southwest along wide, well groomed trail along Sabbaday Brook. This gentle, persistent ascent leads up to Sabbaday Falls that has upper and lower falls with a well built viewing platform. Enjoy the views here before looping around and returning to the trailhead.

FEE NOTICE - Day Use Fee. There is a small fee that is collected at the trailhead using traditional white envelopes and a drop slot. Be sure to pay your fee to support the upkeep of White Mountain National Forest. Better still, buy an annual pass.

HIKER NOTE - Peaks of Tripyramid. Sabbaday Brook Trail provides access to the three peaks of Mount Tripyramid, approaching from the east for a roughly 10-11 mile out and back.

HIKER NOTE - Trail History. Sabbaday Brook Trail was first established in 1880 as a path for tourists visiting a local hotel. The name, ‘Sabbaday’, stems from locals taking the Sabbath Day off to walk the forest and visit these falls.

CAUTION - Be Bear Aware. Black bear are plentiful in the region. Know Before You Go => US Forest Service Black Bear Safety Tips

CAUTION - Moose. Be aware and never approach moose. Leave a wide berth and turn back if needed.
